My daughter wears this to riding lessons and I love that it keeps cold air out right under her shirt. Now with that being said, she thinks it's a little tight around her neck. Make sure your child wears something that looks a bit like a turtleneck, but not so much in the front. It doesn't shrink in the wash but it's a little small out of the box so I'd say the size is larger in this case. Overall, it's comfortable, well made and looks very good! It also pairs well with uniforms as it's simple and looks a little better than most hoodies! I give this one a thumbs up but it fits snugly around the neck and runs a bit small.
