I am buying this book for myself (I am 47) and another style for my 12 year old and we both love them! At first I didn't know what to think of the loose leaf style, but now I see the value in having it that way. They're also one-sided, which I appreciate as an added bonus. So if you decide to use markers that shine through the pages, it doesn't matter. But the paper is high quality so I don't think it will happen - I bought a set of gel pens from the same seller and they work great! I'll post a photo once I've finished one and will definitely be ordering more for gifts!
