Great Halogen Replacements
I've just installed 18 of these bulbs to replace halogen bulbs. I'm really pleased with these LED bulbs. The 3K color is just like the halogens, they're bright, and I'm using them on magnetic low-voltage transformers with Insteon switches and there's been no flickering, humming or other issues. Typical of LEDs, the dimming range doesn't go quite as low as halogens, but I like running these at full brightness anyway since I know I'm using only a fraction of the electricity the halogens used to. I'm also happy to be done with the much hotter temps of halogens and the explosive manner in which they sometimes burn out.
