Review on 📱 SCOSCHE MEBSG MagicMount Elite: Magnetic Surface Mount for Smartphones & Metallic Items – Space Gray by Evan Burnside

This is one of the many Scosche magnetic mounts I've bought for various vehicles and it was the first to break! I've read other reviews on this and other Schosche mounts saying the adhesive is too weak and so far I've assumed the owner messed up the rig. I love the size and shape of this particular mount, so I won't be returning it, but will instead purchase Home Depot or Lowes double-sided tape and attach with stronger adhesive. I followed the directions exactly - wipe off alcohol for the finish and let dry. Then, after removing the backing, I held it in place for a few minutes. The finish itself had to be perfect, a flat stripe on the piano-colored dashboard. The mount lasted a few days but on the way home the mount and phone (Google Pixel 5) fell off leaving glue residue on the dashboard. I am very disappointed with this Scosche mount because I have had such positive experiences with it so far.
