I wasn't a big fan of microfiber sheets, but they've changed my mind. What attracted me in the first place was the advertised "pocket depth". I have a thick mattress and regular "deep" pocket sheets are typically 16 inches, which is too shallow for my mattress. They fit perfectly and sit well and tighten with the bed elastic I bought. It's soft and comfortable. Based on previous experiences with microfiber towels, I was skeptical about its ability to absorb body sweat, but after a bout of night sweats I found that it wicks moisture quickly and dries faster than cotton. Judge how strong and durable it will be, but so far I am very happy with this purchase.
