This is my second time buying this product. As a cloth diaper family with a one month old baby, we have had many accidents where the bed got very wet. My boy felt very uncomfortable in a wet bed. So I bought my first mat to try and found it worked really great so I ended up buying another one. It absorbs very well and does not spread on the mattress. It even worked very well for the occasional spill. I highly recommend it. I might buy even more in the future.
