Arrived a day earlier than planned. Well packed. Ease of installation. The instructions require a troubleshooting guide and contact information for the manufacturer. I connected the power adapter for the device to the surge protector first and then to an outlet. Both resulted in a cyclic buzz instead of TV sound. I then plugged the power supply into the switched outlet on the back of the receiver amp and the unit worked great with no noise or static. That being said, the D/A converter works great, just connecting my Samsung TV's optical audio output to the receiver's old analogue amplifier to play through the good speakers and not the TV's weak little speakers. Good device at a good price. Works well with the right power supply.
