I had a hard case for my previous iPad. I don't know why they don't make it for this generation. I hate this business! The keyboard is held to the case with a magnet to keep it from falling off. To close the case, you need to slide the keyboard out of the way. Worst of all, the buttons became less responsive. On the plus side, battery life is good, and the manufacturer willingly replaced the former if one of the buttons stopped working.
