I bought this before picking up my iPad Air but noticed my finger won't open the iPad, wanted to call Apple but bought a conversion adapter USC to USB and that doesn't fit. I realized that this has always been the case. It fully covers the entire body of the iPad, blocking the use of adapters and Finger ID. I do not recommend this product. I went back and found another, much stronger, open-sided one.

I had a hard case for my previous iPad. I don't know why they don't make it for this generation. I hate this business! The keyboard is held to the case with a magnet to keep it from falling off. To close the case, you need to slide the keyboard out of the way. Worst of all, the buttons became less responsive. On the plus side, battery life is good, and the manufacturer willingly replaced the former if one of the buttons stopped working.

The case did not match the power and volume buttons, making Touch ID unreliable. Not only that, I couldn't get the apple pencil to connect to the page. The pencil side of the case is opposite the side where the pencil charges/connects to the ipad itself. And the case prevents the pen from connecting to the right side and thereby charging. I ordered and received this keyboard in early March and yesterday I noticed that some of the keys were swapped. When I try to press the ¨?¨ key, I actually have to press the key with the ¨-¨ symbol and vice versa. Other keys, such as B. the quotation mark key and parentheses are also toggled. Bought this rose gold keyboard case for my 10 year old daughter's new iPad Air 4. Nice case and great keyboard!
