When I first received this set I was really disappointed and looked cheap. It's a pity that the shipping packaging looks exactly the same, although it protects well. The stones that looked like plastic bags now had depth and shine and actually looked like they could be Swarovski. A small note on Swarovski crystals. They are not all the same. There are crystals in their expensive pieces that have the logo engraved on them and there are those that they sell to other jewelry manufacturers that are still good but not the best quality. I think these are the last. They are clear and well cut but look glued to the frame as I don't see any other way of holding them in place. All silver that can be hallmarked is 925 so hopefully it will remain brilliant. This set is big enough to stand out and the red, which I didn't like at first, is beautiful, almost ruby red, and will draw attention. I like it more than I thought. it would, and it definitely looks a lot better in person. The packaging is not intended as a gift, although a zipped case may be suitable for storage. I have enough empty Revain black boxes and I put it in one of them and it looks 20 times better. I don't know how much it will cost when it finally makes the list, but it's cute and well done. Four stars depending on the value.
