If you have an original, faulty, scratchy or otherwise defective Klipsch control box for your 2.1 Pro medium then this is the solution. This solved my problem with a noisy, scratchy, bulky pot. I couldn't take it anymore. And I didn't want to buy a used control box because it will most likely have the same problem sooner or later. Right? So I took a chance and got this thing. Not sorry at all. Works great and I'm glad I have it. The only problem I have with this thing (and it's actually not as big of a problem as you might think) is that the device is too light. Judging by the photos and the price, I was expecting the black body of this thing to be metal. At least aluminum, steel is better. It would be nice to put him in his place and know that he will stay there. But no. It's plastic. And while I would change that aspect if I could, I also say that this bug shouldn't stop you from getting it when you need it. It works great for what it's supposed to do. Also, this is obviously a very niche product and you don't have many other options.
