The adapter works in conjunction with the ASUS RT-AC86U router. Inserted, automatically picked up the driver. Everything is easy and simple. When connected directly to the computer connector, the speed did not rise above 330 Mbps. When connected via a cord (included in the kit) it works much better. But there was an awkward moment. Due to the clogged channels, the router automatically selects free channels from 100 and above. In this case, the adapter stops seeing the network. You have to manually set the channel to less than 100 in the settings. Here in a question about the product, a Tenda spokesperson writes: "Most Tenda routers broadcast 5GHz on 147 or 161 channels (they are currently the most free) that can be configured. Therefore, all Tenda USB adapters (that support 5GHz) work with any channels that are available." I wrote to Tenda technical support with a description of the problem. They answered that this is a router problem and I need to contact the manufacturer of the router.
