The speaker itself is quite good. I have a little bit of static coming out of the left speaker. I'm not sure if it was a cable issue or if I had a defective speaker. Static wasn't obvious to most people, and I could only hear it if I really paid attention. Bluetooth is the reason I brought them back. There is a half-second delay when using Bluetooth, which I haven't seen with my other Bluetooth speakers. Not that big of a problem, but I got really annoyed that the video didn't match the audio. Bluetooth pairing was my biggest problem! The pairing feature here is one of the worst I've seen. Windows 10 pairing has many issues with this speaker and Edifier blames Windows for it. However, my Bose and Beats speakers don't experience these connection issues, so maybe Edifier can do something more to make the Bluetooth pairing work better. I also had connection issues on my iPhone and Android devices. If you pause the music for a while and then try to play again, there is no sound from the speakers. They're clearly connected, but for some weird reason no sound comes out. The only way to fix this is to turn the speakers off and on again. While it's not the end of the world, it's very annoying, and for a $160-$180 speaker I don't have to deal with those connectivity issues.
