I bought longer lengths to halve and double to bi-amp my Snell D7 towers. The quality of the cable and insulation is excellent. My complaint about Sewell Silverback banana plugs. First, the metal sleeve that attaches to the banana plug is very easy to loosen and difficult to tighten by hand without breaking the arcuate ends of the plug. Second, the banana plug itself isn't isolated at all, so ask about that when it comes to signal curvature and ground potential. Third, I've found that after a few banana plug connections, the bent tabs start to break and therefore don't fit snugly into the 5-way terminal block. This can be temporarily fixed by inserting a small flathead screwdriver into the sides of the "forked" spring-loaded tips. With a little twist, you can restore the arch or outer curve that compresses within the 5-position bracket. Amps and preamps all around - the spring loaded tips are starting to loosen up and loosen up in your gear's 5-pin terminals. I'm actively looking for a real locking banana plug that you can manually extend in a 5 way rack after installation and use for blue jean cable lockers.
