When I first got the battery and cable I used the cable to charge another battery and it worked. So I put the battery that came with the controller into the controller to test the battery. As soon as I plugged it in to charge, it said it was fully charged after about 5 seconds. So I thought cool. I had the controller on for about ten minutes and it died, when I returned the battery it said it was dying. Like a beat of 4. And my controller started acting weird. So I charged it again so ok see how it works it shows it's charging now so I'm a little dubious about the battery and cable. To update. I let the battery charge for an hour or more. Really don't track cons. But in any case, after disconnecting it from the charger, I went from the TV to the couch, sat down without starting it, and the remote turned off. This controller is a brand new Xbox 360 controller which I just received today. (camouflage ;D) but I pressed the battery onto the controller, moved it and turned it on again. Then after I started my game it died again after 8 minutes. So I removed it, went to my old battery with no problems. Request a refund as soon as possible. Never had to do this before, but never had this problem either
