Honestly I bought this as a white noise generator and because my partner complained about cat dander/dandruff. I love it so much I've just ordered a second one for the lower tier. It was easy to set up and from the first night the air was somehow fresher. I turn it on at night for a quiet noise but my partner has stopped sneezing, coughing and almost stopped snoring! The bedroom is off the kitchen and this little giant was sucking up cooking orders right out of the bedroom. We don't see a green light. My only regret is that I didn't buy it a year ago!
