Avoid these monitors and look for something made by HPE (HP Enterprise) or some other reputable company, not HP. They're great when they work, but unreliable and not supported by HP unless you're willing to pay for support. I bought 4 of these monitors and installed a Radeon Pro W6600 on them. About 25% of the time (appears randomly) after the monitor goes into sleep mode (screen and backlight off), the system fails to bring the monitor back to normal with full power. In these cases, the system assumes the monitor is working, but remains in sleep mode. You must turn off the monitor and restore to get the monitor back. I tried several W6600s, I spent a week with AMD techs to fix this issue, I bought three different sets of VESA certified DisplayPort cables. monitor problem. Note that the same problem occurs with HDMI inputs and/or professional NVidia cards. The biggest problem is that HP (the consumer products part of the old Hewlett Packard company) doesn't offer anything other than very basic setup tips via 'support'. If the product doesn't meet specs, you'll have to pay for support, including new purchases and under warranty (they call it "Smart Friend"). Not what I expected from a brand new product that isn't working properly.
