In all candor, I do not know who is experiencing significant issues with this mouse, but I can say that my mouse is exceptional in every way: it does not backfire, it does not make squeaks, it sits completely flat on the table, the materials are pleasant, and it is pleasing to the sight. The horizontal scroll is a little bit lacking, but you can live without it (I knew that I took it), and she does not like mirror or clear surfaces (although this is something that can be attributed to practically all optical mice). You can gripe a little bit about the noise of the buttons; you could make it quieter, but it's passable (unless you work in the studio at night when your other half is sleeping, in which case you have a fate that is worse than desirable in store for you)). The only thing that I have ever read about it is that in order for it to work correctly, you need Bluetooth that is at least version 4.0, however this does not present a problem for me because. I do not possess any devices that are compatible with previous standards. Aside than that, it's a fantastic mouse for your laptop.
