Bought for brake flush; I first used it to remove oil from a reservoir. Wow, it pumps out in less than a minute. Next, fill the tank under the car and pump out the rest of the system. I wish I had had this twenty years ago. An indispensable item in your tool box.

I am a professional auto mechanic and I am very satisfied with this breather. You can't argue with that money. I use it quite often and it's holding up well. Also, attach a piece of brake line to the bleed end and it's great for cleaning out the cylinders while working with diesel injectors to prevent hydrolock!

I used a manual vacuum pump and this thing sucks. It took me a while to use it, but when I did it was amazing. Has a hook for arm hanging, frame, stand, nice long hose and a nice snug end of the hose that's pretty good for pumping. Did a good job especially when I had no help bleeding the brakes. I have a big task ahead of me converting the drum to a disc, this will come in handy.

Product works as intended. The air hose adapter didn't fit my standard air hose (too short to connect) and I had to pull the fitting out of another tool to use it. You have to keep an eye on the filling level of the master brake cylinder, as this does not constantly release brake fluid smoothly. Maybe he did something wrong? I installed a brand new brake system with hoses and lines so there was plenty of air to bleed. I have never worked so extensively. After reading the instructions, I started. It would be better, but written instructions always confuse me until I'm done, and then the instructions make sense. Once I figured out what was causing the bleeding I just walked around the car a few times, fixed a few leaks and it was done. It probably took 1/2 hour when I started. I would give this one 5 stars but when I first used it there was an air leak from the bleeder on the caliper. I couldn't tell if it was a caliper or a hose leak, I even smeared the end with some sort of grease, and it still turned out to be air in the line. So I used a screw connection on the hose to the nipple to ensure no air was getting into the leek, once that was done it worked like a charm. I was able to flush the system myself. It worked great as a vacuum to drain the master cylinder of old fluid, but was terrible as a vacuum vent. It seemed to be sucking in air somewhere because I couldn't get all the air bubbles out when flushing the brake system. The brass valve on the fill bottle is not American or pipe thread but British, making it expensive if not extremely possible to fabricate another part of the mount to hold the bottle on the master to hold cylinder. None of the 4 fittings work on my clutch master cylinder as well as my brake master cylinder on a 1990 Chevy K1500 and they don't seem to work on any of my Jeep master cylinders. Also, the handle for opening and closing the valve faces the master cylinder, not up toward the bottle…
