Get the correct cap - Brake Tools

I had to order and return 4 different brake booster caps to get the right one for the 350z. So for you 350z owners, make sure you order it. (ONLY). This saves you a lot of time.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Only available in Black

Black label adapter for many Kia/Nissan/Ford vehicles

If you have a black label bleeder but can't connect to various Kia, Nissan or Ford vehicles, this is it Adapter just right for you. works very well and has a high build quality. will probably last many years of brake work.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Not bad considering I've had it since 2009-2010

The product corresponds to the description. I had the previous black plastic adapter but it started leaking at the fitting. Not bad considering I've had it since 2009-2010. Not only does this replacement look good, but it's well worth the added cost of an all-metal cover.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Worked like a charm

Worked like a charm on my 2011 expedition. After years of depressurizing with homemade adapters consisting of modified brake caps, brass fittings and epoxy, I decided to give the Motive adapter a try. Uh, I wish I'd bought this sooner. This is without a doubt the best solution on the market for bleeding Ford 3 pin master cylinders.

  • Few competitors

Worked on a 2013 Subaru Forester. Brake Fluid Cap

I recently replaced the rear brake pads on my 2013 Subaru Forester and decided it was time to bleed the brake fluid as well. This adapter worked great on the brake fluid reservoir. As some others have pointed out, there is a "spare" o-ring in the box. It's not actually a replacement part, but its cross-section is slightly smaller than the O-ring that fits on the adapter. After I changed the o-rings, it still took quite a bit of force to lock the cap in place, but it worked like a charm with no…

Airtight Seal for 03 " Infinity FX35

This power bleed adapter has a black label for a Ford adapter but I ordered it for my 03" Infinity FX35 after checking the manufacturer's website checked for compatibility. Tested for leaks today. At first I had a hard time screwing it to the brake fluid master cylinder. It didn't snap to the three tabs on the neck of the brake fluid reservoir. I thought I received the wrong product. Later I pushed the adapter cap very hard and felt the adapter push into the brake fluid reservoir opening and…

Makes it easier to bleed the brakes

I have used various vacuum brake bleeders to bleed the brakes. Some are terrible and some are just fine. Bleeding your brakes is very easy and effortless with this bleeder. Fill the priming bottle, connect the line to the priming bottle tightly, and install it in the liquid tank. Then a few pumps up to about 15 psi. Open the outlet valve on each wheel and a nice smooth flow of liquid will flow. After a few minutes you will have a good clear liquid. Most of the work is removing the wheels, but…

Works as advertised

I used this to flush and bleed the brakes on my Subaru Forester. Bought "Black Label" because for a few dollars more you can get a nicer aluminum lid with an O-ring. I also have a European BL car adapter and love it. It was a little tricky to install the cap on the master cylinder reservoir at first. I didn't push it deep enough to hook the tabs on the reservoir - it sits lower than I expected. I was very careful not to tear the soft plastic tabs on the tank. The O-ring seals well and I haven't

  • Not the best

However, without this tool, this work is not possible.

I came in and it doesn't fit my Ford, maybe it's my fault for not doing a little better research. So I had to order another cover for my Ford and it didn't fit without machining the cover as it was too large in diameter to fit the master cylinder bore. I just replaced the master cylinder and most likely it was from China and the problem could be there and not the pumping. After modifying the cap and it fitted fine without the o-ring, I put the o-ring on and was still having trouble fitting the…
