(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) - After reading tech reviews online I bought this soundbar to complement my new 65R635 4K TV. I connected the soundbar to my TV via eARC and setup couldn't be simpler. Using ROKU OS to adjust TV and soundbar settings is particularly helpful. Once plugged in, I had an issue with the soundbar refusing to go past the standard main input screen for some reason when the TV was on. I called TCL tech support and they were able to tell me how to fix an issue that wasn't documented in the TV or soundbar setup instructions. Want to express TCL technical support here. I've contacted other manufacturers' tech support centers and almost every time I've been disappointed or couldn't reach a real person, I know more about their product than they do when I can contact a real person, or they give up when they do can not solve the problem by following the instructions that are already included in the user manual. I was able to get in touch with a real TCL tech support rep who was very knowledgeable and stayed on the phone with me until the issue was resolved. That alone was worth the price of the soundbar to me! Below is my summary of the pros and cons of this soundbar. Excellent value for money and quality! Very large sound stage with clear dialogue and decent bass. Sounds no better than my dedicated speaker setup Yamaha RX-6A and Anthony Gallo but great for everyday listening. .) as you can with a dedicated subwoofer. All you can do is lower the overall bass level. Accordingly, the bass booms a bit and cannot be tamed - the documentation is sparse. (i.e. the sound modes include one called Boost alongside TV, Movie, without explaining what this setting is used for. - Soundbar's state is hard to determine (i.e. Off, Awake, Sleep). Now after speaking it's not a problem more to TCL tech support because it only works when I turn on the TV, but it's very confusing when trying to troubleshoot the issue.
