Update #2: 2.5 years later I only had to unclog the drain once and I think it was just the soapy water. Update: over a year later and I still have to clean the drain! I am one of those people who clogs the shower drain with my hair. It got to the point where I brushed my hair well before going in and then kept the brush in the shower to wind up excess hair while shampooing and STILL clogged the drain every 6 weeks or so. I've had it for about 2 months and decided to test it by stopping brushing my hair before or during the shower. No blockages! It's amazing how grippy this thing is considering it's a cheap looking piece of rubber that doesn't even fit. I will say that it's a lot easier (and a lot less slimy) to dry clean. And the loose fit (and light weight) means that sometimes my cat thinks he can play with her again and I find her on the bedroom floor. I tell everyone I know about it.
