Good sound, leaks when ice melts

Bought for my dad for Father's Day. Loved it, great idea. The speaker sounds good for its price. But this cooler has no waterproof coating. Dad filled it with beer and ice cream, the ice quickly melted and poured out from the bottom. This cooler should be used for dry food, not frozen drinks, or buy a colder ice pack for your drinks.
