Best dog purchase I've ever made! - We have 3 sets

Overview at the beginning and then many useful tips at the end for owners or purchase intentions! I was hesitant to buy an e-collar and started using it on my dogs, but as many other people have said, these collars have completely changed my life and the lives of my dogs. I bought 3 sets of these. I had a set from August 2020 and then we had two more puppies and one of the new puppies chewed on the original remote and broke the screen. I tried another brand that cost more and said it was better, but the design wasn't as good and my dogs didn't respond at all. In December 2020 I bought 2 more sets of these collars to replace the one that had the chewed remote. I use them on all four of our dogs and they treat them very well. My dogs and I walk 4-5 miles off a leash in the woods every day and the dogs are doing great. You really need to invest energy and train your dogs properly with these collars, but they are a wonderful tool. As long as they are waterproof and stain resistant. I've been thinking about buying 2 more sets to have in stock in the future! One thing I would recommend that makes a HUGE difference to their longevity is replacing the cloth collar with a spare 3/4 inch collar. for Garmin mini tt15. They are available from online gun dog stores for less than $8. High visibility colors or reflective options. The included cloth strap gets chewed easily and keeps loosening up and then the E-collar's training features aren't that effective. The cloth strap is my only issue with these collars, but I still recommend them to everyone! For such for the price they are the best bang for your buck. Since I have 4 dogs and I can only make two dogs per remote, I made sure to buy different colors of remotes. Then I used a soldering iron and set my own Points on the front and back about none of the remotes. This allows me to carry the remotes in my jacket pocket and easily see which pair of dogs I'm interacting with without taking the remotes out of my pocket. Every second counts when a squirrel walks through the forest. If you change the collar to 3/4 inch like I suggest, you can buy some cheap headlamps and attach them to the collars so you can easily find your dogs at night. Forest without a leash. This tip doesn't apply to everyone, but it's still a much cheaper option than lights made specifically to be worn on a dog's collar. Even using the supplied fabric collar I was still able to attach these particular headlights to the fabric collar. I can't speak for other headlight models but just want people to know that this is a cheap option even without a replacement collar!

Pros
  • Electronic training collars
Cons
  • Almost everything ok
