The collar and clasp are strong. The light is bright and the USB charging port is a great feature. Another nice feature is that the length of the collar can be adjusted to the size of the neck - one size fits all! My only complaint is that the collar length adjustment instructions are not clear. The kit includes a small screwdriver. There are four exposed screws on the main part of the plastic latch that houses the battery and switch. Without looking at the overall design of the product, you might think that this is where the length should be adjusted. No! The heads of these screws are removed during factory installation and cannot be removed. At first I thought the stripped screw heads were a manufacturing issue. The second part of the closure consists of two parts. Slide the top back and you'll see a stop attached to the collar with two screws. Loosen the two screws that attach the stop to the clamp, cut the clamp to length and reattach the stop with the two screws.
