This product allows me to easily turn on and off some USB powered audio spectrum meters for my computer. The device is very simple. The switch and cords are 40 inches long. The distance from the end of the outlet to the switch is 6 inches, the length of the switch is 2 inches, and the length of the cable from the switch to the USB port is 32 inches. The cords are strong and feel comfortable. Not only allows to make a USB device switchable, but also acts as a nice USB extender. - The switch feels comfortable, it turns on and off smoothly. - The price was reasonable. Where I feel the connection is broken and not too tight where I have to worry about what is connected to the fittings. Note. This can be used with any USB device (data or power) that you want to turn off completely. I'm using this on an LED light that flickers easily with the lowest residual wattage. Some examples of an ideal switch are LCD displays, USB passthrough drives, USB external drives, etc. If you use a jump drive or external drive, this will make it not recognized by the computer until you flip the switch again a. Advice. Use double sided foam tape on the bottom of the switch and place it where you plan to use it. We definitely recommend it and will update this review if this device has any issues with continued use.
