Review on 🧥 Black Coat Rack Umbrella Stand by Jennifer Vargas

Instructions? I don't need instructions.

Good product but difficult to assemble. Putting it together should be a very simple process, but there are a few issues. The stand comes with a one-page "instructions” sheet. There are three drawings showing the assembly steps. The first picture #1 shows the use of three screws (item N) to attach the ring to the stand and three screws (item M) just below the ring to attach the legs to the stand. It's behind what it should be. The "N" screws are too long to be used on the ring and the "M" screws are too short for where they are shown on the legs. Switching solved the problem. You also get a set of small black "K" and "L" plastic caps that fit on the ends of the tube. If you like me and just throw them on the table, you can end up like me and be a little bit wrong. Six caps are rounded and should fit into the top or coat hooks, the rest into the legs and bottom of the coat hooks. I put two of them in the wrong ends and one didn't come out. So pay attention to which parts go where. Finally the large rods are twisted together using the indent and indent to lock them in place. I see that this may require drilling a few holes and attaching screws to keep it from falling apart. This is a pretty good stand though, holds a lot of coats and hats and is very stable.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • May hurt
