I have these bulbs in commercial Lowes string lights. Recently 2 onions fell out of my garland cartridges. One of them fired, followed by a blast of fire and smoke. (See photo of the burnt outlet). I believe this is all due to water getting in and around the lamp socket causing it to corrode and then short out and explode. I blamed real lamps, but this manufacturer contacted me and said they were in fact incandescent bulbs. They are not compatible with some types of garland. Be careful.
