I chose this collar because I like that it suppresses unwanted barking. like some collars. My dog only really barks under a few foreseeable circumstances, so he doesn't have to wear this all the time. So far it seems to be working fine. The collar itself seems a little flimsy to me and not very intuitive to use. I had to read the instructions 3 times before I was really sure that I had disabled the shock function and turned the vibration function to the desired setting. At one point I realized it could be used, but it took me a lot longer to figure it out than I'd like to admit. My dog seems to be responding well to this so far.
