Since he takes it off a lot, I get off easily (but I'd rather do that than not work). If your cat is rough with collars I would say that burlap/natural fibers fray easily but that is simply due to the material. .When you put it on your pet for the first time, please keep an eye on it. Cats have slight jaws in the collar, and when they pull to remove it, they relax. I wore them when I was at home until I realized they weren't paying attention. I left her there 24/7. High quality bracelets! If you have a smaller wrist, they are slightly thicker and you cannot wear more than 1 piece on the same wrist at a time. They held up great! I untied mine and cut them off to help with the long strings. If you do, just make sure you can still take them off. Overall I am in love with these collars! We just got one for our new addition.
