I have several NP-F chargers but they are very weak and take forever to charge. I think my other two max out at 800mAh per battery. Even with a current of 1A, this significantly reduces the charging time. But the 1.5A and 2A charging modes are just a SHOUT compared to other chargers I own. I don't mind slower chargers for small batteries, but big ones (4000mAh and up) take a long time with slow chargers, so it's a big help. The 1A plan is good when you're in absolutely no hurry and need to find a good balance between battery life and charging time. The higher prices are amazing if you are in a hurry. This is a really nice little charger for my NP-F batteries and if you want to shave a few minutes off your charge time this is a great way to do it. It even has a decent display that gives you a pretty good idea of the charge level. I would have it back in a heartbeat.
