These molds are easy to remove from the finished product. I haven't tried a full-fledged mild chocolate bar yet, but these are smaller because I'm preparing a cupcake in the shape of the letter K for my daughter's birthday. I used a piping bag to control how much material goes into each shape so it doesn't overflow and mess up the rod when it's done. I also used a toothpick to get into the corners. You have to tap the shape after you finish it to remove air pockets as I didn't quite get all the air pockets but I know I'll have to tap it a little more next time. The mold came off very easily, I had no problem getting them out. I'm glad I ordered them and recommend this to any buyer.
