I take long trips alone in my jeep with a trailer. This sometimes makes it difficult to find an easy spot to pull off and a bathroom (not to mention I don't want to leave my car and trailer unattended in many places I travel). As a result, I carry them (or similar) in the glove box for situations when I can't wait any longer but have nowhere to do business. I usually stop somewhere along the freeway for safety reasons, get things done while in the jeep, then seal it up, drop it onto the passenger's legroom, and drive on. On rare occasions I have to use it when stuck in traffic, which requires some skill and care (especially since I have a manual gearbox and need to use the clutch in addition to the shifter, throttle and brake). But with a little finesse I can do it. The great thing is that the plastic cup keeps them open even if you only secure the bag with one hand. The gel is packed in a small mesh bag, so you don't have to worry about spilling through the hole, and then the liquid will be quickly absorbed, and it can be handled quite casually without the risk of spilling the contents . The problem is that it doesn't have enough capacity even though I was close once. I've also seen it come in very handy when traveling in a van with kids who have to keep stopping to pee along the way.
