I've used socket kits in the past to fit wheels or pulleys to shafts in various projects, but I've never seen a kit this loose. I wanted to use them to mount a 1" hole diamond wheel onto a 1/2" mandrel shaft. The diamond wheel needs to turn very accurately, but those nested bushings had too much play for that. The video shows the game as I rocked the wheel on a .50 inch shaft. Maybe that's enough for someone's purposes, but not for me. Someone suggested putting a layer of tape between the bushings, but in my opinion a non-rigid material like painters tape as a bushing isn't the best way to take up loose tolerances, especially when mounting a heavy wheel that should work properly.
