I bought 2 fans in August 2018. Eight months later in April 2019 one fan died, the other was badly worn - noise of non-ball bearing type. These fans are connected to a temperature control board that turns them on and off when the cabinet they are installed in reaches certain temperature thresholds. In fact, they were included when less than 50% was used per day. I'm disappointed that they didn't last long and weren't as quiet as I had hoped. The operation of the two fans created harmony, and you could hear them working (or, I'm told, "competing") with each other in a quiet room about 17 feet away.
