The price is the best among similar offers. The range of functions is good. The problem is the color difference of the same product. It is suitable as a single light source, but its use as part of a multiple lighting system is difficult due to the inconsistency of light colours. The newest version with pure white light is preferable to the old version with green tint. Neewer should be commended for the award. For the price there is no better alternative. This is good for videographers and photographers. It's light. It's wearable; Requires 6 AA batteries. There is also an adapter in the bay that I have yet to test. The only problem is the light color. The product is one in name but two different versions in colour. Once pure white, as you would expect from white light. The other has a green tint; this is the old version. A slight shadow in itself is not a difficult problem. Modern cameras have a white balance. The real problem is that they get mixed up in the lighting set. The color difference is noticeable up close. The newer pure white is preferred. The source of the problem is that when you order from Revain, they are sold mixed. Sometimes you get the first, sometimes the second. I ordered three lamps for three different occasions. I have a pure white version and two greenish versions. To make sure it was the right thing, I ordered directly from Neewer across the bay. My suspicion was correct, they fixed the green cast problem in the newer ones. They've also done away with the magenta filter, which is no longer needed to counteract the green splatter. Although not always the case, the "Neewer" markings on the box and on the bulb are a clear indication of a newer version. An older version would say "Nanguang". This LED light is still excellent value for money. If you only want to use one light source, buy one and set the white balance. However, if you intend to use more than one, be sure to purchase the newer pure white light version.
