📸 CN-126 LED Video Light by Neewer for Camera or Digital Video Camcorder Review

Love it! I was planning on using it as a hair lamp, but for my most recent shoot I actually hung it on a pole and used it to light the background. For €40 it doesn't get any better. Maybe I'll use one for accent lighting in the future. I wouldn't call this a key light, but maybe a fill light. I'm very happy with how it works. I took a screenshot for you below.

If you choose between 216 and 160 versions of this lamp. go with it 216 . I have both, both work really well but the 216 is brighter and looks whiter. I liked this light until the day the on/off switch fell off. Unfortunately, it happened on the exact day my returns window closed. Bad luck. It's otherwise bright but uses some battery when fully on. And I can't get it to work on standard AA alkaline batteries. Rechargeable AA, yes. And regular AA, no. But the batteries don't last long anyway. The build quality is what you would expect from a budget flashlight. It's cheaply built and maybe not durable, but the price is right and you get what you pay for, so I'm not scolding it. When I received the lantern, something inside rattled, after shaking, a small nut fell out. After testing, the lamp still worked, so I took it off the first time I used it. I have had two Newwer 160 LED lamps for a number of years, which I use to photograph small objects and occasionally to fill in large light sources. The 216 LED can handle smaller items and is definitely a decent fill light. Better than 160. For reference, this flashlight has the same physical dimensions as 160.
