Update 05/15/2020: I misread the instructions and left the device permanently connected to the charger since purchase (yes, I know. Yes! But it is.) The device started behaving strangely , so I turned to RADEX for help. The regional manager told me how to restart it and see if the battery would now hold a charge. It took a few emails back and forth as I'm not tech savvy (obviously) and RM was very patient and professional. And his replies were so quick that I was (thankfully) caught off guard. I followed his instructions and am happy to report that the device is up and running. Great product that offended me and great customer service! What else could you ask? Oh I wasn't using the computer interface when I first checked this. So let me add that the interface is simple enough for a non-technical person to use and understand. Original post: It's been in my basement for 10 days. I'm very glad I got it because radon levels fluctuated wildly and I now know I wouldn't trust a charcoal tester to get accurate readings. Levels have increased from very low to above the recommended maximum and everywhere in between. The average is below the maximum so I'm holding off on mitigation for now, but I'm glad I can continue to monitor levels and make informed decisions about future mitigation.
