Agree with other commenters that the charger is very cheap and flimsy but it seems to work. Checked the dough for coverage and the only plastic was on the outside, nothing covering either end (see photo). The blue border is attached to the sleeve that wraps around the full length of the battery and if there was a protective sleeve the battery wouldn't charge. When the battery was placed in the charger and then the charger was connected, the indicator was red. Leave it until the green light comes on. I moved the battery to the flashlight, when I pressed the button at the bottom nothing happened. The next day I asked my husband to check and he wanted to make sure the battery was charged so we put it back into the charger as before (and waited until the battery was in to connect). The light was red (should have had another load from last night). A few hours later the light turned green again so he moved the battery to the flashlight and again nothing. We noticed that the button below is clickable but doesn't "click" like some buttons of this type do. It could be a bad battery, it could be a bad switch, it could be a bad lightbulb, there's no way of knowing for sure. It is now being returned and I will be purchasing a different brand dive light instead. .
