I bought these because, like most people, I spend several hours a week in virtual meetings and use the built-in cameras on desktops and tablets. I wanted a physical cover for the cameras in case I ever forget to close the app and accidentally leave the camera running in the background. They are powerful enough to completely black out the camera if left on. The only downside is that they are quite flimsy and the slider can easily be pulled out of the rail. I would say they are perfect for desktops and tablets. The slider can easily fall off the phone screen if it gets stuck on something in your pocket, for example.
