I used this to dress up as Gamora for Halloween. I used Grass Green which is too dark for Gamora, next time I'll try a pale green, I think it will blend better. But that didn't bother me. I found it difficult to use, but maybe it just takes some getting used to. I used a sponge makeup applicator and dampened it first (if it's too wet it washes off where you touch it). then rubbed and applied the make-up. It was very messy. I found that I had to apply it for the most part because rubbing it in made it look streaky. I applied the first coat which looked streaky and waited for it to dry then went back and applied the second coat using the dabbing method to fill in the areas where you could see my skin. It looked "blotchy" up close, but it also looked good for photos from afar. Again, it may take practice to get used to using it. I've never used makeup that colored. I wasn't disappointed, I just didn't like it. What impressed me the most is that when it's dry, it's dry. It doesn't stay wet or sticky on the face like face paint. So it wasn't deleted at all. So my husband and friends didn't teach the color while we were taking pictures or on my kids' costumes while I helped them dress them, feed them, play trick or treat, etc. It was important and appreciated. It also stayed all night until I decided to wash it off. Then he got off easily. I used a soapy washcloth to wash it off and it came off without much effort. I think it ruined my washcloth, we'll see when it comes out of the wash. So don't use stuff you care about lol. I have sensitive skin and it didn't bother me at all. No pimples, no redness, no itching, and I've had a reaction to makeup in the past so I was nervous. But no problems with it. The only thing I noticed was that my skin got very tight and dry after losing weight, so I had to put a lot of moisturizer on my face to get rid of the tightness. Overall I am happy with the purchase t. I wish I could just figure out how to apply it to give it a smoother look but I felt like I used a lot and it looks like I barely touched the container so I used A LOT left to practice.
