I used my previous scale which is much more accurate (due to microgram resolution not lab tested) which I use for my medications which need to be carefully measured. I've used this scale's precision 10g weight to compare units of measure and they both agree. I also checked the liquid measurement in milliliters and ounces, and while the measuring cup isn't entirely accurate, the scale was very close. So close that mistakes don't matter at all in a kitchen environment, which is the intended purpose of this scale. I also checked the measurement of a cherry tomato and both units agreed again. I've included some reference elements in the photo to help determine the size of the device. It's very thin and has a very nice finish - with a glass lid. This should blend in well with any modern kitchen decor. The device is very easy to use, to the point where I didn't need an instruction manual at all. However, I later read the instructions and to my surprise given the origin of the manufacturer - grammatically correct, very clear and easy to understand. The real gem is that they give you a real phone number to call support. You don't see that often and it's a nice surprise. This is used daily as I cook almost every day and still have an Italian delicacy. Money-wise, this is a huge game on the scales. Considering the fit and finish - you wouldn't expect it to be this cheap. Very happy with it.
