This is my experience with the specimen I received. I am an experienced photographer.1. The autofocus on this lens was very inaccurate on the D780 and D7200. Very often it would not focus at all without turning the camera off and on again. Yes, it's noisy, but you can live with that. Manual focus is of course good.2. Lens flare/ghosting is the worst I've ever seen on a new lens. also with a hood. With the hood off the flashes/ghosts were awful. Off-axis light or backlighting will either create excessive glare or completely blur the image.3. The lens looks beautiful and can produce average to good images in ideal conditions. If you plan to shoot in the real world, this lens has serious limitations.
