Will change taste even with Gatorade or Preworkout unless you mix it with more than 1 liter of water

I really don't want to take a star off this seemingly fantastic company but I just can't find it a good place for it in most people's dietary supplement regimen due to its bitter taste. I've recently become a fan of Nutrabio's purity and would highly recommend it to anyone. I first became a fan of BCAAs in 2010 and have been using Scivations Xtend during my training ever since - there was a definite benefit in delaying to exhaustion. But after the Proposition 65 warning label suddenly appeared on it, I started thinking about all the additives this unregulated industry is using. Given the recent trend of full disclosure on the label for dietary supplements, I am not alone. Here we have pure BCAAs. TASTE: The nutrabio website says in bold that it doesn't taste good on its own, and they themselves advise against taking it on its own due to the pure amino acid flavor. I always mix my BCAAs with Gatorade or pre-workout and was hoping there wouldn't be any noticeable flavor in those cases. During my workout I drink 1 liter of water containing 1 scoop of Gatorade (21g carbs) and 1 scoop of BCAAs, no big difference. However, in 15 ounces of water with my Assault, the taste is marred by some bitterness. The lesson here is that you need a lot of dilution. If you drink it alone I would recommend their Lemon Lime which tastes great and replaced my Xtend. MIXING: Some reviews speak of clumping, probably true as nothing is added to aid in mixing, but it definitely dissolves in a standard 1 liter Nalgen bottle in the same time it takes to dissolve Xtend needed. If you use a shaker (with wire mesh) there is no problem at all.
