The best "$20 meter " I've ever had!

I have already told colleagues who are looking for a measuring device that they should get this. I will most likely use it in a shop environment. PROS: I attached it to my snap-on gauge to check accuracy. (I was skeptical about the accuracy of cheap counters). The results amazed me! I have tested it with 8 volt golf cart batteries and 48 volt batteries. It was accurate, same reading, less than 0.05v difference! It has features that even high-end counters don't have. Like a bracelet and a magnet to hold it. And the auto-dimming backlight is something I'm not used to. The kit includes pointed wires and alligator clips as well as a temperature sensor. Like conventional fuses, fuses are very easy to replace. CONS - very few. The test leads feel a little "cheap" and the "alligator clips" are a little small, I guess I'm being picky. In itself, a decent meter of halfway leading leads cost $25. (And once you've used good leads, you can add them.) Overall, I don't think you could spend $20 more for a counter anywhere else, do it in the "cheap counter" price range. Many miles ahead of the port freight meter in this price range.

Pros
  • REL" for zeroing
Cons
  • Will do
