Correction: This cover DOES fit the A1706/A1708 (Look on the back of your MacBook to see your model number.) It depends on how you install it. (See the attached image.)I was ready to return this cover because I thought that it did NOT fit the 2017 Macbook Pro 13 with Touchbar. But it does. The trick is in the installation. I figured this out because I looked at other covers on Ebay that included photos about how to install their case. (See the attached image from the ProCase item (that's a little cheaper than this one, BTW.)When you install both pieces, snap them on the back of the computer first. This works for both the top and the bottom piece. This is not intuitive, because the tabs on the bottom piece are thicker and sturdier on the front of the piece. So you would THINK that you should attach the front of that piece first. But when you do, it won't clip onto the back side. If you instead hook the tabs on the back first, and then you're willing to force the front pieces to snap on, it'll stay on.
