When my first heater failed after about 6 months I contacted customer service. They quickly sent me a new heater. No trouble. I am very grateful for the quick response and delivery. The heater itself is worth the money. The temperature is up to 1 degree higher. This is not enough to dissuade me from recommending this product. The suction cups could be better. I have 4 of these heaters and each one weakens and starts to slip after about 2 weeks. I have 2 aquariums with African cichlids (75g and 120g). Luckily for me this isn't a problem as I regularly clean my tank and simply press the suction cups against the tank wall before it falls all the way to the bottom of the tank. It is also known that cichlids do not tolerate heaters well. This particular heater is not suitable for fish. I didn't even see them try to play around with it.
