In general, the fastening is not bad. I tried installing it on the front left passenger side seat bolt on my 2017 Chevy Malibu, but the gap was too small for the aluminum track to attach to the bracket once installed. If the bracket were a bit bigger I could take it, but it is quite small compared to the threaded plate. Instead I had to mount it to the rear seat bolt, which still gave me minimal wiggle room but managed to fit (pictured). Installing the bracket and aluminum post took about two hours before I could move on. This is because I tried many options and angles before settling on the one I installed. After the bracket was in place I tightened the ball joint nut when it split in half (pictured) and could not be tightened anymore. I barely squeezed it to tighten the mount but unfortunately it broke VERY easily. I contacted the company immediately (literally the moment I sent the photos and description of what happened) but have yet to receive a response. I'll update below when I do. The flexible part of the neck is very difficult to bend and snap into place. But if it is, it is very stunning after installing the tablet. Even with a broken ball nut, I could leave the tablet at an angle and the weight of the tablet wobbles it while driving. It's obviously not safe to look at or use your tablet while driving, so I'm not complaining too much, but it would be nice to touch it so it doesn't dance as much.
