I like this pot mainly for its size and weight. I needed a lighter pan for hiking/biking with my SOTO Windmaster stove. I used an Evernew Friends 700ml pot so I have some experience with this although I just got my own. I've only used it to boil water. I haven't cooked anything in it yet. It's durable and easy to pour through the spout (many lightweight pots don't have a spout!). The lid fits snugly, but can be easily removed with a little pressure on the back. I use the Snow Peak Hot Lip (less than an ounce) to sip my coffee straight from the coffee pot so I don't have to carry around an extra cup. It's over 6 ounces lighter than my cook set, 7 ounces when I add a cook rack, and a lot lighter. The lid can fall off in the backpack, so just wrap it with a rubber band. One point of criticism is the engraved dimensions. These are the 10 and 15 ounce marks, 16 will be just under the ounce gauge. There are 200, 400 and 600ml. I would have preferred a 12oz or 350ml ruler to easily determine the volume of a cup and a half as many packaged dried foods require that amount of water. I will most likely make my own markings. You don't have to be precise with these dishes either, but too much water makes them runny.
