I ordered this product specifically for air travel and so far it has worked great. Seated. For the record, on my most recent trip, I conveniently packed my coat, spare shoes, 5 days of spare cold-weather clothing, a laptop, and a few other small electronics. Internal mesh dividers make organization very easy. Durability: Has survived 4 rides well so far. No complaints or doubts. Comfort: The bag is comfortable enough for what it is. You won't be surprised, but nothing to complain about either. As you would expect, the bag is significantly less comfortable when fully loaded as it expands away from your body. good bag, I recommend.
